Vocabulary Words: Unity, Overlap, Layering

Materials: 9x12" black paper, colored paper scraps/neon paper, scissors, glue

These aliens are created by using overlap, layering, and lots of imagination. I teach this lesson after we have completed the habitat birds and creatures. I give very little guidance for this lesson, as students are fired up and ready to begin. After the aliens are completed, I have the student's name them by taking the first 3 letters of their first name, and the last 3 letters of their last name.
