Materials: 12x18" white paper, sharpie, crayons, watercolors

I introduced Laurel Burch to my 2nd Grade students. We then drew a basic cat shape, adding abstracted patterns, shapes, and symbols to our cat. We added a border, repeating our shapes inside our border for unity. We colored our shapes with crayon, then painted the background and cat with watercolors.
