Vocabulary Words: Shape, Lines, Expressions

Materials: 12x18" white paper, crayons, watercolors, sharpie

I have the students draw 7 or 8 rounded shapes. Around each circle I ask them to draw a specific repeating shape. For fun, we draw eyes on each one. I ask the students to create a nose and mouth that fits with the expression the eyes are making. We color with warm colors, then paint a watercolor wash over the entire picture.
