Materials: 9x12" White Paper, sharpie, tempera

We practice drawing these several times before drawing our final copy. To begin, draw a circle that is slightly off center and larger than your closed fist. Lightly draw a large circle around this - this line is a guide that will show how large the petals will be. Paint the flower yellow and add orange shading. The stems and leaves are green with a touch of red for shadows and a white highlight. Brown is in the center and dabs of orange, white, and black are added for texture.
