I saw a similiar
project on the internet - this is my version. We began by measuring 4"
and 5" down from each side of the paper. This is where the ribbon ends
on the paper edge and allows the ribbon to continue from one picture to
the next. Students then traced their hand somewhere on the paper and
wove the ribbon through the fingers. A square was drawn around the
hand, and a dot was drawn somewhere towards the center of the paper. 7
lines were drawn from that point to the paper's edge. The rules were
simple: one section had to include their name, each section must
contain a different pattern, and that pattern would be colored outside
the square, black and white inside the square.
